(More customer reviews)I picked up a Casio PX-200 a few months ago but found myself not using it as much because I did not have a stand which was secure enough to hold the piano in place. The original plan was to use a small table but that idea went out the window once I received my Casio PX-200 and realized how wide the piano was. So I decided I should purchase a stand. I first decided I would purchase an X style stand but my wife and I have an infant who likes to touch everything in the house and knock things over so I was worried this would not be safe for my child. I did not want to pay so much money for a stand but in the end, I decided better safe than sorry so I saved up money and finally picked up the Casio CS-65 stand. Boy and I sure glad I did.
My Casio PX-200 has two covers on each side which comes off easily by simply removing a couple of screws on each side and pull off the covers. Once you do this, you simply then mount it the each side of the stand and put the screws back on so that it secure. The instructions were easy to follow. After I finished putting the stand together, I brought my son into the office and we let him go at it. He could not knock it down. It was pretty secure, even with him leaning against it. He enjoys playing the piano all the time now. My digital piano looks great with this stand and I am not worried about my son getting hurt.
Pros:

-Makes the digital keyboard look fancyCons:
-Since the piano is screwed to each side of the stands, this means your digital piano is no longer portable. If you plan on travling with your digital piano, this is not the stand for you.
-Much more expensive than an X stand
Overall, I would highly recommend this if you have a compatible digital piano from Casio. I wish Casio did not charge so much for this stand but I don't regret my purchase at call.

Yamaha L85 Keyboard Stand for Yamaha P95 Keyboard Review

(More customer reviews)The instructions are pictorial so no room for confusion. You need some space for the assembly as the pieces are long, but it was all quite straightforward. And it looked short when done but the keyboard sits about on top of it, with screws to hold it in. My son remarked that it was an improvement over the x-stand previously used, this sits solidly and doesn't wobble as the other did.
I would recommend getting the stand if you have the P85, it does support it better and also looks kind of like a piano. I also got the three pedals, (LP-5), which fit across the bottom of this stand and also helps it feel/sound more like a piano.
Tip: I have seen these three (Digital piano, stand, pedals) offered together as a bundle on some sites.

(More customer reviews)When I purchased my daughter a keyboard for Christmas, this stand was included. I must admit that I was very skeptical at first about a stand that was included with the product, but I am very happy.
It is very sturdy, easy to use and folds for storage or transport. The legs scissor, so the height can be adjusted for basically any type of seating you use - we have used it from kitchen chair to bar stool height. When not in use, you can collapse the legs together for easier storage, the width is about 4" when closed.
The only downside to the product, and I am not sure it is a problem with the product or with keyboards, is that there is no mechanism to firmly attach the keyboard to the stand. The keyboard just sits on top of the stand, and can easily be bumped off. I am sure that a way to attach the keyboard could be found, however I would not recommend this stand to a household with small children or for a household where the keyboard will be placed in a high traffic area.

Yamaha P95B Digital Piano, Black Review

(More customer reviews)After finally deciding it was time to upgrade, i've begun the quest of finding the PERFECT keyboard. I am only able to compare the P95 to my Korg N-one so far and of course to the real pianos i`ve played. Hands down the Yamaha P95 is the most touchy feely digital piano i`ve ever had the pleasure to play. It invites expression, something i really was missing from my acoustic piano days. So that`s marvellous. The tone is `nearly`` perfect. Still think there must be a better one out there, but i haven`t found it yet. This is as close as i`ve come so far to sound perfection, for the acoustic piano sound. The other sounds are sadly lacking but that`s not what i need it for. So for feel, full marks, acoustic piano tone nearly full marks. Ease of operation - to be honest i did not get the manual as this is a rental. I`m sure with a manual you could figure out all the ins and outs. But for just sit down and play, record while you play, play it back, add a bit of strings, all simple and no brainers. (nice change after the Korg N-one) I`m not complaining about my Korg, it`s just a completely different beast (yes you have to tame it) but the Yamaha is so user friendly i loved it immediately. The pedal is ok, it works, just tape it down so it doesn`t slide away on you. Nothing unusual about that if you`ve ever played on stage, everything HAS to be taped or strapped down or else. So no biggy. The other thing about the P95 is how darned easy it is to carry. I just about broke my knees every time i had to move that KOrg. This P95 I can carry with ONE hand. Wow. That`s worth every penny right there. Speaking of which, it is a real bargain - you will not be disappointed with a P95, even if you are still looking for the perfect digital piano, which after all may or may not exist. I Highly recommend the P95.
